In the newly opened Magis winery in April 2017, we focused on cultivating grape varieties in Japan and began brewing in autumn 2016.
We will make wine of honest flavor, taste of terroir that can only be done in this land.

Kazuaki Kazuaki of the 14th owner of the Morita family who has been engaged in the brewing of sake etc. in Owariari Era from the Edo era established in Katsuuma in 1973. Okunota Winery is a very small winery located in Shioshan, Koshu City. With a motto of careful wine making that can be done because of its small size, we are working on winemaking using the potential of grapes to the fullest by cultivating wine grapes at 1.5 hectares of own farm. We operate our own farms and make wines that bring out the characteristics of individual varieties to the maximum from high quality grapes brought in cooperation with contract farmers.
